Monitoring site visit of the CULTURe EXchange Platform (CULTUR-EXP) project at RENAM

Two Romanian auditors from JMA conducted monitoring site visit of the CULTUR-EXP project at the Research and Educational Networking Association of Moldova (RENAM). During the meeting progress made during implementation of the projects were discussed, recommendation was made to continue cooperation with project partners and apply for new CBC projects.

Fourth meeting of the CULTURe EXchange Platform project

The Fourth face-to-face meeting of the CULTURe EXchange Platform project was held in Kavala, Greece on 19th of April 2015. Representatives of partner organizations participated in the meeting. Project overview was made by R. Kvatadze, after that all partner representatives made presentations about progress of the project and future plans in their respective countries (AMAP and RENAM via Skype). The main topic of the meeting was future sustainability of developed platform. Representatives from Greece, Bulgaria, Moldova and Georgia analyzed different possibilities. It was agreed that partners will run platform at least one year after the end of the project. In addition status of project implementation and future activities were discussed.

Third meeting of the CULTURe EXchange Platform project

Fourth Newsletter of the CULTURe EXchange Platform (CULTUR-EXP) project is published

The Culture Exchange Platform (CULTUR-EXP) project is in it twentieth month, that is three quarters of the way through its duration. This is now a mature project with defined and measurable deliverables. Project is funded by the European Union's Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme.

Announcing the CULTURe EXchange Platform

15.10.2014

On 6 to 15 October ERFC announced the CULTURe EXchange Platform [CULTUR-EXP]. The key venue chosen was to publically announce the project at the OPEN DAYS of the 12^th European Week of Regions and Cities. This event eventually included 5600 participants.The announcement was made specifically at the European Neighbourhood Instrument Cross Border Cooperation: Promoting cooperation Workshop. Mr. Nikos Petropoulos announced the project to an audience that was listening to cooperation project on neighbourhood policy which includes the Black Sea Region. (08.10.2014)

• A further announcement was made at the European Parliament at the office of MEP Jude Kirton Darling on 9 October 2014.

• Plus, other annoucements, also at the European Parliament on:

• 14.10.2014 the project was announced and presented to Stella Tutunzi and Frederique Chabaud – European Parliament ; Green Party

• 14.10.2014 – the project was announced to Union Network International for Media and Entertainments Industries (UNI-MEI), Mr Johanes Studinger and to Mr Bernie Corbett and Robert Taylor of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain, the European Writers’ Council and the Federation of Screenwriters in Europe.

• 15.10.2014 the project was announced and presented to MEP Mary Honeyball and MEP Julie Ward of the Legal Affairs Committee and the Culture Committee of the European Parliament respectively.

CULTUR-EXP Platform was presented during an International event in Burgas, Bulgaria

District administration Burgas was a host of the learning conference “Digital documents in the cloud computing – opportunities and benefits for the public sector”. During the second part of the event Borislava Yordanova (team leader of the Burgas team) presented project CULTUR-EXP. The presentation included information about the overall and specific objectives of the project, short presentation of the partners and the team from District government Burgas, the performed activities and the forthcoming ones. After the presentation was paid special attention to the elaborated culture platform – its main functionalities, the possibilities for registration of individual and organizational profile, edit and upload of different information, pictures, video and audio files, etc. During the conference more than 20 state servants from the administration as well as international partners were trained.The event was in the frames of the project “Smarter European union public administrations”, financed by Programme “Leonardo da Vinci 2007-2013”. Partners in the project are District administration Burgas (Bulgaria), Institute for work and technique (Gelsenkirchen, Germany), Anatoliki S.A. (Thessaloniki, Greece), City Council of Murcia (Spain), Institute for creative activities (Lodz, Poland). Guests-lecturers from Municipality Burgas, Burgas Free University and representatives of the private IT sector also made presentations on the topic.

CULTUR–EXP Platform Tutorial is developed

CULTUR–EXP Platform Tutorial is developed by ERFC team. All partners provided comments. Basic functionalities of the platform are described in the tutorial. The CULTUR-EXP platform http://cultur-exp.eu is an online tool, where users are able to meet and share work and ideas, advertise, search for support and organize cultural assets and events in the region.
